PARC DES LOUPS DU GEVAUDAN

The Parc des Loups du Gévaudan is located in Margeride, at more than 1000 meters above sea level. More than a hundred wolves (Canada, Siberia, Mongolia, Arctic and Poland) live in semi-freedom in a wooded area of several hectares in the legendary lands of Gévaudan. The vision park is open to discover with our specialists five subspecies of Canis lupus . The main interest of the Parc des Loups du Gévaudan, in addition to observing wolves, is to seek to make the animal known as it really is: to erase or attenuate all the fears that have run over it in past centuries. and rehabilitate it with visitors, hoping that mentalities will change. The park also has an enclosure of more than 15 hectares where more scientific studies take place.
