In the heart of the city of Mende, from the first testimonies of life until today, you dive into a place of life, discovery, sharing and conviviality. The Gévaudan Museum covers 1,200 m² spread over three levels. The permanent exhibition occupies the first floor. Rich, diversified and accessible to a wide audience, it brings together more than 500 pieces selected from the 16,000 in the collection. The tour is divided into twelve rooms allowing visitors to discover the collections through the prism of two themes: Nature & Culture. On your arrival, you enter spaces of mediation and discovery of the heritage and you discover the bookstore shop and a relaxation area.
