Les portes de Mende - VTT N°7

Short sporty hike that starts from the Mende stadium to follow, in the forest, the Causse of the same name and return by a forest path. After almost 3 km of false flat uphill, the real difficulty of the circuit comes in the form of a short steep climb, or 450 meters of climb with a difference in altitude of 120 meters! This is followed by a succession of small climbs and descents over almost 3 kilometers before a first beautiful descent of 400 meters long, a climb of one kilometer then a new steep descent of around 600 meters. The last 4 kilometers are a succession of descents, climbs and false flats before reaching the finish. NB: A small portion of the circuit takes the RN88, a very busy road, be careful . To see on the way : crossing a national forest with a view of Mende and the Lot, in the middle of the vegetation. See all the mountain bike trails around Mende.
