PR N°8 of the Heart of Lozère. This circuit, starting from the Place du Foirail in Mende (in front of the Tourist Office), will allow you, via the Valat des Pigeons , to climb up to the Causse de Mende and reach the ridge line. You will then follow the Causse and admire the superb views of the city and the Lot Valley. BE CAREFUL of the big climb : 340 m of altitude difference at the start, flat then another 50 meters of climb to go back down to Mende. On the way, you will see the old leper...
