PR N°7 of the Heart of Lozère. This loop will take you to one of the highest points of the Causse de Mende: Le Mont-Mimat (1070 m). You will pass by the hermitage and the chapel of Saint-Privat via a way of the cross. It is, according to the tradition, in the cave which is in this place, that Privat, Christian evangelist, would have been martyred by the Alamanni. You will also discover magnificent panoramas over the town of Mende, the Lot valley and the Margeride which extends to the north...
