With a canyon of more than 7 km and a height difference of 400 m at the Belvédère de la Garde Guérin, the Chassezac is characterized by its rugged relief which for a long time gave the gorges the name of "the Devil's lair". To admire the immensity of the site, you must go to the Belvédère set up to the north of the Garde Guérin. The roar of the water, the steep slopes, the rocky spurs offer a grandiose spectacle. This site is classified as a Tourist Unit of Open Nature .
