Langogne has a 12th century Romanesque church built by the monks of Saint Chaffre. Dedicated to Saint Gervais and Saint Protais, it underwent many additions and reconstructions over the following centuries. It was equipped with side chapels and a flamboyant Gothic portal at the end of the 15th century. Its bell tower and nave were rebuilt during the 19th century. The interior is decorated with a set of paintings, statues and also with capitals with plant and historical motifs. The building's particularity lies in its south chapel which houses a Virgin registered as a Historic Monument, Notre-Dame-de-Tout-Pouvoir. It is as original by its black color as by its history (see below). The church of Langogne is located in the heart of the town and is open free of charge and freely to visitors throughout the year. " 12th century building, remodeled at the end of the 15th century. It consists of a nave flanked by two side aisles. On these side aisles open chapels dating from the 15th century. On the first bay, the chapel on the south side is dedicated to Our Lady of All Powers. A small black Virgin is worshipped there which, according to tradition, was brought back from Rome by the Viscountess of Langogne who received it from the hands of the Pope himself ."
