Saint-Jean-du-Bleymard is located 2 km before Bleymard and was once the Parish. The village has kept its priory and its chapel separated by the road. The fortified priory sits well on the slope. The 12th century Romanesque chapel, listed as a historical monument in 1979, is slightly below the road. Its "bell tower of torment" during the harsh and tormented Lozèrien winters allowed travelers and shepherds when the bells rang to find a spatial landmark and the hope of reaching a dwelling. The nave has only two bays, covered with a pointed barrel vault. The capitals of the engaged columns are decorated with stripes. Four chapels lean against the choir and the nave. The roof of the apse is lower. The pointed portal has four thin columns.
