The waterfall is accessed from a small path that starts from the municipality of Nasbinals. Following the stream, we arrive at the edge of the ravine. There, the tributary of the Bès and the waters of Lake Salhiens rush from the basalt rim under which a cave has formed. This cave discovered by Doctor Prunière was to serve as a refuge for highway robbers. Its ceiling is made up of large basalt prisms remarkable for their geometry.
