BELVEDERE DU PAS DE SOUCY

The Pas de Soucy is one of the major sites of the Gorges du Tarn. A gigantic chaos is offered to the bewildered gaze which, from the top of a specially equipped belvedere, discovers the Tarn which rumbles at the bottom of the Gorge, in a deafening din during famous floods, in an inviolate nature! This picturesque site does not leave visitors indifferent and the most jaded say they are very impressed after the visit. The Pas de Soucy is the tireless fight of the river (floods that can reach 14 meters) with the rock and the cliffs, an unforgettable spectacle that makes it one of the highlights of a visit to the Gorges du Tarn.
