Evening / picnic with musical entertainment.
Presence of local producers (raw vegetables, cold meats, grilled meats, cheeses, breads and cakes, beers and wines), entertainment for the whole family under the rhythms of music.
Possibility to eat the products purchased on site, take your cutlery and plates.

Every year, the weekend following August 15, it is the great festivals of Mende!
from Friday to Monday it’s party time!

brass bands, illuminated parade, flower parade, election of misses, fun fair, ball and fireworks …

The great festivals of Mende are part of the tradition of votive festivals in the south of France.

Les jeudis de la Cathédrale (= Thursdays at the Cathedral)

From 1 July to 31 August, the Tourist Office organizes, every Thursday at 21:00, a concert in the Cathedral of Mende.

It’s free.

The Hermitage aperitifs :

To close a day in a good mood, at the hour of the aperitif (18h), in company of artists ready to take you in their imaginary world, with the city of Mende and its surroundings for panorama.

Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier

Every summer, in the first half of July, the concert proposed as part of the Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier is a great success in Mende.

It is a free concert that is played on Place Urbain V in Mende.

Historic center

The alleys of the historic center with its facades and its exceptional heritage of doors.
Unmissable places that can only be visited with a guide: The town hall, the courtyard of the old synagogue, … and other surprises.

The Pharmacy of the old hospital

The former hospital in the town of Mende, built in the 17th and 18th centuries, is now a residence for the elderly.
It should be noted that its pharmacy preserves many 19th century objects and that its walnut furniture recreates the atmosphere of our apothecary shops of the past.
